ANPACT announces Expo Transporte 2019

Mexico City, October 30, 2018. In a press conference held in a hotel in Polanco, the National Association of Bus, Truck and Tractor Truck Producers (ANPACT), announced advances in the organization of the maximum heavy truck automotive fair, Expo Transporte ANPACT 2019.

According to the operators of the event, ByN Exposiciones, the commercialization of the spaces of the event that will take place from October 16 to 18 at Centro Expositor Puebla, in the City of Puebla, has an advance of 78%. This edition is estimated to host around 400 exhibitors who would offer their products and services to about 45,000 attendees in an exhibition area of ??more than 60,000m2. Puebla is a city in constant growth located less than 3hrs of 40% of transport companies and users of transport, this is a very good investment offer for our exhibitors. This XVIIIth edition represents a new and positive opportunity for the maturity of Expo Transporte ANPACT.

Miguel Elizalde, CEO said that "e;Expo Transporte ANPACT mirrors the consolidation of the commercial vehicle industry in the country and presents the opportunity to show its growth and export capacity, a development that must be replicated in the national market."e;

"e;The commercial and heavy vehicle industry in Mexico is a reference worldwide. We are the 1st exporter of tractors, 4th exporter of heavy vehicles and 6th producer of freight transport vehicles. Our products promote mobility, logistics and international competitiveness. Expo Transporte ANPACT is an example of this potential"e;.

Elizalde said that the challenge for the heavy vehicle industry is in the domestic market, "e;The motor transport sector is interested in renewing the fleet, but is facing a series of challenges such as vehicle theft, increased insurance policies, fuel price liberalization, the fluctuations of the exchange rate and the complications derived from the lack of a public policy to calculate transport tariffs. The result is a vehicle fleet more than 17 years old that compromises road safety, the environment and competitiveness."e;

Therefore, Expo Transporte ANPACT 2019 will put on the table three major issues that concern commercial vehicles: road safety, environment and competitiveness. Three fundamental pillars to offer a better quality of life to the citizens and to boost the national economy, gathering, for it, as is already tradition, the authorized voices of the sector.

For this edition ANPACT announced the first-time inclusion of an exhibition track where the public will be able to appreciate the panoramic view of the beautiful city of Puebla while enjoying the experience on wheels offered by the newest models of the associates of ANPACT: Dina, Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Kenworth, Mack, Man, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Volkswagen Bus, Volvo, Cummins and Detroit Diesel.

"e;Expo Transporte ANPACT is a space to find innovative and cutting-edge solutions for the major sectors of interest in the industry: automotive, motor transport, mobility and logistics. There is no doubt that Expo Transport ANPACT has positioned itself as the largest business exhibition (B2B) in Mexico and a benchmark for the industry at a regional and even global level, "e; said Angélica Bucio, Public Affairs Director of ANPACT who is T responsible for organizing the fair in behalf of ANPACT. Elizalde said "e;Expo Transporte ANPACT 2019 will be once again the ideal forum to promote measures that benefit the motor carrier transport, to achieve the commitments established between the authorities and the different branches of the industry."e;
